How much does IB tuition cost in Mumbai?
IB tuition fees in Mumbai vary widely. Quotes usually depend on programme (PYP/MYP/DP), subjects, one-to-one vs batch size, teacher experience and online vs centre-based delivery.
Treat very low “unlimited subjects” packages and “guaranteed 45” promises with caution. Ask what is included each month.
1. What affects the fee
- Number of subjects and weekly hours
- One-to-one vs small batch (2–6)
- DP extras: IA / EE / TOK support
- Online vs Goregaon / Borivali / Kandivali centre
- Assessment frequency and parent reporting included or billed separately
2. Compare the real monthly cost
Compare monthly total cost for the same hours and subjects. A cheaper large batch may cost more in remediating gaps later. A premium one-to-one rate can be efficient if hours are focused.
An hourly rate on its own tells you little. Two quotes can look very different until you line them up by subjects, hours per week, group size and what else is included.
3. Ways to spend wisely
- Focus paid hours on the one or two subjects that need it most, not all six
- Use one-to-one for weak areas and small groups for practice
- Start with a demo or diagnostic before committing to a long package
- Plan extra IA and EE support for the months it is needed, rather than all year
- Review hours every term and scale down subjects that are back on track
4. Inkstall’s approach to fees
Inkstall shares a clear fee range after understanding board, grade, subjects and preferred format. We do not publish a single flat rate because IB needs differ by student.
5. Get it in writing
Request a written plan: subjects, hours, assessment cadence and fee validity period before you enrol.
